Bathers

Landmark: Three out of 12 units in the new residential block — Bathers — at Cronulla have been sold.

THREE of the 12 units in the multimillion dollar Bathers complex on Prince Street, Cronulla, have been sold for a total of $10 million.Listing agent Bernadette Berlyn from McGrath Real Estate said the sales were a good sign for the market.

“There is a new certain confidence with market levels and inquiries have doubled,” Mrs Berlyn said. “The location and quality of the product will make this one of the highest-selling properties in Cronulla.”

Each luxury unit has three bedrooms and two terraces in four buildings. The ground and middle units are priced from $2.7 million each, and up to $4 million for a penthouse.

Mrs Berlyn said many “empty nesters” were interested in trading down their properties without compromising on quality.

“This will lead the way for redevelopment at Cronulla over the next five years,” Mrs Berlyn said. “We will be following the trends of other beach suburbs such as Manly to satisfy the demand for luxury beachside living.”

Bathers is due for completion in December.
